Volunteer Scholarship
The Junior League of Hampton Roads was founded in 1956 and is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The Volunteer Scholarship was established in 2018 to support the volunteer potential of our youth by awarding one or more scholarships ranging from $500 – $3000+ to high school young women who demonstrate outstanding volunteer performance in the community. We have awarded numerous scholarships to graduating women seniors.
